What does BOTM mean? Bike of the Month of course! I build a lot of custom bikes at Capra Vélo, but it isn’t always easy to explain what is possible, or what they can look like, so a few pics and a short write up should help.
Gunnar is an American bicycle manufacturer. Making only frames and forks, they straddle the line between the artisanal one-man-show and bigger steel-only companies. The quality level to price ratio is excellent. For this build, a multi-surface, year-round bike was the goal. Plenty of room for fenders, a simple (one chainring) drivetrain and disc brakes.

Good for gravel, wet winter days, or any time a comfortable yet fast any-surface bike is desired. It can be built to many different budgets and riding styles. Since this is my personal bike, I look forward to many, many miles of riding on it!
